Ruvi Wijesuriya, M.Ed. Ruvi is the director of the Instructional Technology Support (ITS) Group within DMIT. He is an instructional technologist specializing in web based multimedia development, interface design, and online courseware development. He supervises central IT's Blackboard course administrators, ASU faculty support and training, the Instruction Support Lab, and ITS multimedia software development for special projects. The ITS group also evaluates emerging technologies and makes recommendations regarding potential campuswide deployment. Ruvi has been a full time staff member with ASU Information Technology since November 1996 and is an instructor at Arizona State University, teaching Computer Literacy courses. In addition to his work with ASU, Ruvi serves as an adjunct faculty member at Rio Salado College, where he teaches online Computer Information Systems courses. Resume: |
